Trailer/Promo/Teaser

Meet the characters

Sanjay Dutt is Master Madan, the only dangerous hitman who has seen every Bollywood film made…and remembers them better than the faces of his victims.

Arshad Warsi is Champ, the only ace conman who’s changed his identity more than his underwear…

Minissha Lamba is Jiya, the only player who has a big secret to hide, with her homing pigeon as her only confidante. The beautiful daughter of ingenious magician Raghu, she is the heroine of the set-up…

Anusha Dandekar is the hottest woman of the set-up, the beautiful Rosa. She may love Champ with all her heart, but patience isn’t really her virtue.

The versatile Raghuvir Yadav plays the ingenious magician Raghu Sharma magician Raghu, who can work magic with his deft hands. But one trick too many costs him his freedom.

Gulshan Grover plays Detective Suraj Singh – the smartest cop on the Thai police force, Detective Suraj Singh. Singh can make any suspect sing and spill the beans.

Sanjay Dutt palys a ruthless hitman, whose only victim is Arshad Warsi, Champ. But is Champ really the prey or is there something more to it?
The whole concept of this movie has been inspired from hollywood flicks like ‘Catch Me If you Can’ & ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’. The cat & mouse games begins as soon as first reels ends. Only difference in this movie is that the role of victim and prey keeps on changing, each one trying to outdo the other. Based upon what we have seen in Munnabhai, the chemistry between Sanjay & Arshad is definitely going to strike the chord and the whole movie is based upon these two criminals (one Hitman another Conmen) shoulders.

Karma, Confessions and Holi *Promo/Teaser/Trailer* ~Watch Online~

Posted on 28. Jun, 2006 by musicNmovies.info in 2006, Previews

Cast: Sushmita Sen, Randeep Hooda, Suresh Oberio, Rati Aghnihotri, Deepal Shaw, Drena De Niro and Naomi Campbell

The movie definitely bears glimpse and shades of ‘Monsoon Wedding’ and this one too deals with extra-maritial relationships, sexual abuse and infertility issuses. The treatment of the story is neither tacky like ‘Julie’, ‘Mruder’ nor glossy (Mr. Johar style, KANK) emotional drama but it is handled with much of sensitivity and appears as realistic as it is.

Trailer/Promo/Teaser

The story unfolds with aftermath of joint celebration of Holi, where whole family along with friends gather to play a game of confession. Some inner secrets are unveiled with some honest confessions being made. Someone’s virginity status is disclosed and somebody claims to have made out with his professor. Randeep confesses that a very attractive girl taught him how to kiss (perhaps suggesting of Sushmita from the preceding shower sequence), while Sushmita talks about a couple who was naïve and trying to have a baby from a while now. As each member starts telling secret buried inside their deep dark minds, evil starts erupting, which leads to confrontation and finally a whole family relationship gets destroyed.

Witness a celebration turn into scandals in Karma, Confessions and Holi.

Golmaal (2006) *Preview* – comedy meets action trailer – exclusive teaser

Posted on 26. Jun, 2006 by musicNmovies.info in 2006, Previews

Golmaal means something fishy or some underhand situation. Well that’s exactly what the film is about, a situation where four good for nothing guys are up to no good. The story is about the lives of these four college friends, Gopal (Ajay Devgan), Lucky (Tusshar Kapoor), Mahadev (Arshad Warsi) and Laxmi (Sharman Joshi).

Teaser/Promo/Trailer

Storyline

Gopal is the wisest and wickedest of all and his motto is to eat, drink and be merry (Kal Kya Hoga Kisko Pata types). Mahadev and Lucky are also of the opinion that only idiots work while wise men work in a different way to make their lives comfortable. Among the 4 is Laxmi, a bright student and the only one who is sincere and God-fearing.

At one point, due to their notorious acts, the dean of their college throws them out of the hostel and they have nowhere to go. Gopal the biggest bully and the wittiest of all, tells them about a bungalow inhabited by an old blind couple, whose son, daughter-in-law and grandson are in America.

Gopal plans to enter the bungalow pretending to be Prashant (the blind couple’s grandson). He also asks the rest of them to move in with him, the only condition being, everyone except for him would always remain silent. This bizarre sequence leads to much confusion throughout the film creating lots of comedy.
So hold your breath guys… GOLMAAL is slated for a July 2006 release. It definitely seems like ‘fun unlimited’. The promos indeed appear preposterous, so let’s see if the film really has an on-the-edge comedy to offer.

Her independence is of prime importance to her and she believes in the importance of material luxuries.

There are moments when she realizes that she is not playing the traditional role of a wife or a mother owing to her busy career but she refuses to feel guilty about it and strongly believes in her right to pursue success as much as a man. Her belief in her marriage is strong even during its turbulent phase and she tries every means in her power to save it until she realizes the enormity of the situation and is forced to take a stand…

Abhishek Bachchan as Rishi Talwar

Abhishek Bachchan as Rishi Talwar in Kabhi Alvida Na KehnaSophisticated, stylish with a gift of the gab, Rishi Talwar, upcoming public relations professional, has inherited his father’s fun-loving nature and his sense of humor.

She is unable to whip up enough passion for Rishi and is disappointed that her love for him does not match her own expectations of what it ought to be. This dilemma pulls her further apart from him thereby causing a strain on their marital life. To add to this complication, she encounters Dev in whom she finds all the ingredients to fire the passion she lacks in her marriage…

Kirron Kher as Kamaljit Saran

A self-reliant woman with a combination of strong traditional values and a progressive mindset, Kamaljit Saran is an example of a parent who has molded herself to the changing world without losing her roots. While she is a silent spectator to her son, Dev and daughter-in-law Rhea’s changing equations, she does not hesitate to voice her opinion as an elder when required. She is fearless in her decisions and takes a rather progressive stand for her daughter-in-law when the situation worsens…

Krrish (2006) Review – will rewrite boxoffice !

Posted on 23. Jun, 2006 by musicNmovies.info in 2006, Reviews

As we had predicted, Krrish definitely is the dark horse of the year. With 50+ crore on the stake and Hrithik’s release after such long gap, the expectations were humungous. The film works, and works big time, due to several reasons. Besides a novel premise for Indian moviegoers, it has Hrithik Roshan enacting a role that fits him like a glove.
But one of the major highpoints of KRRISH is its penultimate 40 minutes. The fight between good and bad, noble versus immoral, virtuous versus corrupt has been depicted in film after film. And if the fight between the two extremes is portrayed in the most convincing fashion, the viewer is bound to carry the film home and most importantly, return to the movieplex to watch the on-screen clash once again.

Teaser

Cast: Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka, Nasurdeen, Rekha
Rating:

Synopsis

Krishna [Hrithik Roshan] is born with magical powers — a legacy from his father, Rohit Mehra.

Free as a bird, he runs like the wind…
Like an eagle, he soars across rivers and mountain tops…
As a lion, he conquers rugged rocks without fear…

Priya [Priyanka Chopra] comes into his life and becomes his world. When she beckons him to Singapore, he follows her there. Little realizing it is destiny that has summoned him. Having sheltered him from the world, his grandmother Sonia [Rekha] reluctantly gives in to him and lets him follow his heart.

In Singapore, Dr. Siddhant Arya [Naseeruddin Shah], the megalomaniac scientist, is on the verge of changing the future forever. Only one man stands between Dr. Siddharth and his destructive dreams. Only one man has the power to block his ruthless ambitions. Krrish.

Critique

KRRISH is essentially three movies rolled into one: It starts off as a love story, changes gears and becomes a traditional superhero story and in the pre-climax, it’s the clash between good versus evil. While the first part seems like any other love story, it has its moments. Its much more intresting than Fanaa’s road romeo one liner sayeris. The story actually gathers momentum when Sharat Saxena spills the beans and the film goes into a flashback. From thereon, right till the end titles, it’ a different film altogether. And that’s its biggest achievement. The team of writers [Sachin Bhowmick, Honey Irani, Robin Bhatt, Akash Khurana and Rakesh Roshan] deserve brownie points for padding the film with pulse-pounding moments.

The film has its share of blemishes too. The pace slackens intermittently in the first hour, primarily because the story doesn’t move beyond the romantic scenes. Also, the music [Rajesh Roshan] isn’t as mesmerizing as the Roshan brothers’ previous works. The songs of KRRISH are functional, barring the ‘Dil Na Diya’ track, which is complimented by an energetic picturization.

Bollywood goes to Pakistan !

Posted on 21. Jun, 2006 by musicNmovies.info in Scoops

After Tsunami Concert last year, Bollywood once again comes forward for the nobel cause.
Amisha Patel , Shilpa Shetty , Neha Dhupia , Zeenat Aman , Jackie Shroff , Javed Akhtar , Shabana Azmi , Aftab Shivdashani , Dino Morea and Celina Jaitley are among the stars who have confirmed participation in the event scheduled for June 25, PTV Marketing Director Khawar Azhar told a news agency.

Sri Devi, Boney Kapoor, Dalip Tahil, Prem Chopra and Gulshan Grover will also take part. Efforts were on to bring legendary Bollywood couple Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu to take part in the programme, he said.

The Indian stars would be brought to Karachi by a special Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight which would be named “Mughal-e-Azam“, the famous Prithviraj Kapoor movie which earned the distinction of being the first Indian film to be permitted for screening in Pakistani theatres, ending a four-decade old ban.
A PTV team would also be on board and record interviews of the artists during the flight and arrival of the artists would be live covered on the PTV, Azhar said. PTV has built a special set featuring Mughal architecture as the venue for the programme at a cost of Rs three millions. The income generated would be donated for the special quake relief fund set up by President Pervez Musharraf, he said.
