The son of bollywood romance moghul, Aditya (son of Yash Chopra) finally filed for the divorce. According to sources the alimony settlement is around Rs. 27 croes, which he has to pay his (ex)wife Payal Chopra. The problem between the couple has been in news for more than a year ago. As Adi rarely makes media covers, so it was considered as just rumour. But it all came to end, when his wife finally filed the divorce case in the court. The major reason for this rift is believed to be alleged relationship between Aditya Chopra & Rani Mukherjee.

This month filmfare magazine cover girl is none other than ‘Good Morning Mumbai …’ girl of Lage Raho Munnabhai – Vidya Balan. She is simple, good looking, talanted what more would anyone want ?

After slick thriller remake – DON, from Excel Films, Farhan Akhtar takes back seat as Producer in Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd.. Reema Kagti, who has assisted Farah in DCH, Lakshya and Ashutosh in Lagaan makes her directorial debut by this film. She is trying out something of low profile (starcast, look-n-feel) in this family entertainer. The movie about six married couples who goes to Goa for their honeymoon. The movie stars most of the well known character artists of bollywood including some new ones.

Its pretty refreshing to watch bollywood classics once in a while. You can clearly see, the advancements made by indian cinema in last few decades. From black and white to eastman color to todays Imax the advancement is definitely beyond anyones imagination. On the one hand can we see commercial and technical achievements bollywood have made but on the other hand you can clearly see the backruptcy of ideas in these days movie. No wonder, why directors are opting for remakes. Compared to classics like Kagaaz Ke Phool, Mudhumati, Mother India I often think where have all those writers gone.

If you thought Devdas (2001) was an ideal bollywood musical love story, then watch ‘Goonj Uthi Shehnai’ your belief will be shattered within first 5 minutes.

Last year, Sangeeth Sivan (director) said Kya Kool Hain Hum and earned more money than ace filmmakers under Ekta Kapoor’s production. This time Sivan is saying ‘Apna Sapana Money Money’ hoping to earn much more under Mr. Subash Ghai’s production. As the title itself suggests, ASMM is zero logic – David Dhawan style comedy, not made for serious movie critics. If you want to enjoy this movie then leave your thinking caps at home.

2 Weeks, 2 big movies – Umrao Jaan (J.P Dutta) & Vivah (Sooraj Barjatya). Apart from being made by legedary directors, both movies share one common thing – both of them are completely disappointing. While the former could have excuse for being remake of classic cult movie, but Vivah, how could Sooraji even think that people would accept Amrita as Madhuri & Shahid as Salman with same old story. Yes the movie highlights forgotten culture and moral values, but its content and presentation is nowhere near to his past masterpiece.

Arjun Rampal is all geared up for his forthcoming first home production movie – I See You. Arjum himself plays the male lead, while a new comer Vipasha has been casted opposite him. Its not bad for a actor to turn into produre, even top actors like Amitabh Bachchan (ABCL) and Shah Rukh Khan (Dreamz Unlimited, Red Chillies) have tried their hands. The problem with the movie is that, its complete rip off of last year’s Reese Witherspoon starrer – JUST LIKE HEAVEN (2005).
