It has been confirmed that the first episode of Koffe With Karan Season II will be starring – Kajol and Rani Mukherjee. Karan has started the shooting of this first episode and says there is also a surprise guest in this first episode of new season. After numerous speculation in the media, finally we got it from horses mouth that the guest will be none other than his first love – Shah Rukh Khan.

After regular denails and pouring media questions, finally, the hush-hush couple got engaged and has been confirmed by Mr. Amitabh Bachchan himself. Abhishek and Aishwarya got engaged in Mumbai on the occasion of Makar Sankranti on Sunday night.
A small roka ceremony was held at Aishwarya’s house, after which close friends and family arrived at the Bachchan residence in Jalsa to congratulate the couple.

The guests included Karan Johar, Anupam Kher, Kirron Kher, Anil and Tina Ambani.

Mani Ratthnam, like his previous movies – Roja, Iruvar, Bombay brings yet another semi-biographical ‘Guru’. Mani’s movies are generally based on a socio-political commentaries and biographies of larger than life people. The story of Guru is also one of them, and obviously takeoff from Dhirajlal Hirachand
Ambani’s life and times, (better known as Dhirubhai Ambani), irrespective of whatever the disclaimer may say. Similarly while the execution part of the story is clearly seems to be loosely inspired from Hollywood’s “Citizen Kane”.

Guru is a decades-spanning drama with a compelling Abhishek Bachchan as a ruthless Indian business tycoon who refuses to take no for an answer.

Well, continuing the tradition of 2005, this year too some of the big movies were not expected to hit the ground so hard, but unfortunately met the ill fate. As usual, producers and distributors were the people whose ships sank. For directors and actors it was just one another glass on rocks. Some of these movies listed, though might prestigious awards in days to come, but in the box office it failed miserably due to many reasons – script, star cast, competition and even Mumbai rain.
So without further ado, let’s unravel the worst top ten of this year.

Well, as the new year begins so does the bollywood awards season and as always the first to be is Screen Awards. Since past 12 years, it has been awarding top bollywood personalities both on screen and off screen for their regular contribution to the film industry. Unlike other awards show where actor/actress are awarded based on popular public voting system or so on, Star screen awards nominations and final judgement is made by the a jury comprising of distinguished personalities from the film faternity. Every year the jury members are changed in order to adapt to changing nature of film industry and to make it as fair as possible.

Santanu Moitra gave excellent musical tracks for Parineeta and now in Lage Raho Munnabhai. Well, its 50% true, recently while browsing youtube, I again stumbled upon a musical peice which sounded exactly same as infamous – ‘Pal Pal…’ Har Pal track from LRMB. “Pal Pal…Har Pal” - sang by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghosal, is a romantic song reminiscent of Cliff Richard’s Theme For a Dream. Instrumentally, the song features use of the mandolin, guitar and other string instruments.
