After heavy promotions on the small screens – Nach Baliye, Jhalak Dhiklaja the movie about two different souls in a love journey will make it to the big screen. One suicide attack and another smaller blast targeting former premier Benazir Bhutto kill at least 139 people in Karachi, just hours after she had returned to Pakistan for the first time in eight years. Once again terrorism has taken over humanity. According to latest official reports, the blast has been linked with Qaida and western opposition islamic millitant group. Pakistan has become the battleground for militant Islamic opposition to the West. Karachi is now one of the most dangerous places in the world for Westerners.

After comendable job with Parinita, Pardeep Sarkar, tries to repeat similar saga but fails to hit the chord. Laaga Chunari Mein Daag is complete rehash of raunchy Juile along with run-of-the-mill sisterhood tv serials like Kasam Se, Beetiyan, Paraya Dhan…. Though Pradeep Sarkar have successfully captured the essence of Benaras and Ganga but doesn’t have any signifiiance to the ‘been there done that’ storyline.

In short Laaga Chunari Mein Daag is old wine in a new bottle.

You might be thinking I have once again got typos, it should have been Jab We Met the movie. Well, despite returning from long haitus, I am still filled with complete bollywood energy.
As everyone is well aware of Shahid & Kareena starrer forthcoming movie – Jab We Met inspired from Kareena & Fardeen’s Khusi.

Well, when both of them started the movie they were together and the title seemed suitable, but now as the couple have officially annouced their break up, the title should be changed to Jab We Broke.

You can’t believe that it’s the same person who made – Rangeela, Satya, Kaun, Company with such raw perfection. The rehash of Ramesh Shippy’s Sholay, titled Ram Gopal Verma ki Aag is nowhere near the orginal, had the movie been only 10% as intresting as the original then theater wouldn’t have been half empty even before the climax on the first day first show.

In short, RGV falters big time and as usual its us who lose of time and money !
