After Jab We Met, movie makers are once again using their grey cells. Finally they understood you need to have good script presented in an interesting way to withhold audience attention for two and half hours. Glossy eye candy locales or hot dangling phoren babes can’t entertain more than front benchers. That’s what Sunday gives; ample doses of comedy, gripping storyline and a kinda whodunit mystery. Though the movie isn’t any path-braking revolution, but the screenplay and subplots makes the movie pretty interesting.

Despite having dreadful start after swinging 2006, 2007 ended in pretty good note. Within last two months there were more than 5 hits, two of them being blockbuster, while others super hit. Well, those were November & December, but 2007 did have sluggish start. With miserable fate of highly anticipated Salaam-E-Ishq at box-office, all big banners were afraid to release their movies in the first quarter.

Tashan (English: Style) is a forthcoming Bollywood film starring Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. It is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya who wrote the screenplay and dialogues for hits like Dhoom and Dhoom 2. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra and Yash Chopra under Yash Raj Films and is scheduled for a release on April 25, 2008. We give you an exclusive teaser from the movie.

It was after a long time the original diva of bollywood made appearance in bollywoodish party. The occassion was santoor player Rahul Sharma’s wedding reception. The interesting thing was after nearly 16 years, Rekha and Amitabh came face to face during the party. But the most surprising thing and the talk of the tinsel town was still bigger than that, it was Rekha’s attire in the party.

Well, last thursday had chance to view an extravagant show – Star Screen Awards 2008. Although the show will be telecasted only on 27th January 2008 on star plus, we had special priviliege to watch the live show. Depsite lackluster nomination list, the show was actually above my expectation, and after all it was my time to watch Star Screen Awards Live instead of on tube.

As usual Star TV & Screen Awards delcared this years nominations, and without a doubt once again we can clearly see the baisness. You will too notice once you look into the nominations. One of the biggest disappointment was missing of two most successful actors of this year from the nomination list – Salman Khan (Partner) & Akshay Kumar (Namaste London, Hey Babby, Bhool Bhulaiya, Welcome). Another only three actress – Aish, Bebo & Tabu in Actress list, hello where are – Vidya Balan (Bhool Bhulaiya), Lara (Partner) ?
