Abhay Deol, name associated with offbeat small budget cinema – Socha Na Tha, Ahista Ahista and 12:40 ki Last Local comes again with similar picture – Oye Lucky Lucky Oye. Oye Lucky Lucky Oye is a story of a thief who steals everything from cars, TV, music systems to pet puppies. Though the theme might sound exciting the movie isn’t in totality, the movie amuses in parts but due to poor editing and lack of strong narrative the movie falls completely flat.

Aamir Khan has yet again displayed his perfectionist streak! He managed to convince the makers of Ghajini to make a quick trip to South Africa for shooting just a four minute song.A source tells us, “Aamir was shooting in South Africa a few months back for some important scenes and a duet number. But during the shooting of action scenes, Aamir encountered a leg injury and he had to rush back to India. The duet number which was to be shot on him and debutante Asin was left to be picturised.

Mani Ratnam’s current in-production Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Ravana is in trouble, as the money is cut-back. “Mani was expecting to shoot the film on a lavish scale as Reliance Big Pictures were pumping in the money. But now that the world is under a financial crises, Reliance have told Mani that the cash will be considerably less than as previously said,” says a source. The actual figures are not known, but insiders say that Mani will now only be getting Rs 60 crore, half of what he would have got initially.

A metropolitan magistrate on Tuesday issued notices to Shah Rukh Khan, wife Gauri and director Farah Khan, asking them to remain present in the court on February 22 in connection with an application moved by veteran actor Manoj Kumar.Manoj Kumar had filed an application against the three regarding a scene in the movie Om Shanti Om which he felt ridiculed him.
