A police complaint has been registered against Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai and several others including Suzlon company Chairman Tulsibai Tanti for illegal purchase of land for setting up a windmill at Nandurbar district in North Maharashtra.The complaint was lodged last night by Anand Lala Thakare, who alleged that his land was purchased and illegally transferred in Suzlon company`s name.The actress is a shareholder in the company. The company is setting up a wind power project at village Dhandane in Nandurbar district.

The storm surrounding Shah Rukh Khan`s supposed controversial comments on Prophet Mohammed seems to have taken a grave turn now – an Islamic seminary has issued a fatwa (legal ruling) against SRK over the same.According to reports, the fatwa has been issued by Mufti Mohammed Shoeb Raza Qadri and Mufti Muti-ur-Rehman of the ‘Darul-uloom-Mazhar-e- Islam’, who have stated that the entire Muslim community was hurt by Shah Rukh`s comments.

Akshaye Khanna and Arshad Warsi enmity is affecting Anil Kapoor’s home production Shortkut-The Con Is On as Akshaye is not promoting the film along with other team members to avoid Arshad. Miffed Anil called Akshaye and blast him over phone, reminding him of the clause.“Akshaye is hardly around to promote Shortkut — The Con Is On, which is Anil’s home production. Apparently, Akshaye had a difference of opinion with Arshad (Warsi) and he was not attending any promotional event which Arshad was attending. His standard excuse was that he was feeling unwell. After two occasions, we had to bring this to Anil’s notice and he was obviously miffed,” says a member of the production team.
