Bollywood hunk Shahid Kapur is turning 29 this Thursday and director Siddharth Malhotra has planned a special party for Shahid. When Shahid Kapur came to know about the surprise bash, he asked Siddharth to add Deepika Padukone’s name in the guest list.Though Deepika and Shahid are not doing any films together at the moment, they are very close to each other. They are constantly in touch over phone and news is also doing the rounds that they are in a serious relationship. They met each other at a party and both became friends. The inevitable has happened and just as we had predicted in our box-office report, Karan Johar’s Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer, MY NAME IS KHAN, has reset the Overseas records within 3-days of its release! In the US MNIK is estimated to have netted $1.93 million during is opening weekend (12-14 February), beating the record of OM SHANTI OM which had $1.76 million to show during same period. In the UK MNIK has grossed £936,000 beating KABHI ALVIDA NA KEHNA’s £750,000. Even in the Middle East MY NAME IS KHAN has $890,000 to show as opposed to $830,000 by RAB NE BANA DI JODI.
