Karan Johar’s WE ARE FAMILY, a remake of the Hollywood film, STEP MOM, starring Kajol, Kareena and Arjun Rampal, may not have done as well as expected but that hasn’t deterred the filmmaker from going ahead with a new project, SHORT TERM SHAADI, reportedly inspired by another Hollywood flick, WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS, starring Kareena Kapoor, Imran Khan and Randhir Kapoor.

However what is making news is that the film will witness the first time ever coming together of actress Kareena Kapoor and actor-father Randhir Kapoor. Randhir Kapoor plays reel life father to Kareena in the film. Media sources report that Kareena’s mother Babita is very happy that the daughter-father duo will share screen space for the very first time and informed that she is very excited at the prospect of seeing them together on screen. The entire family is expected to fly down to Las Vegas for the outdoor schedule of SHORT TERM SHAADI.

Well, that certainly will be one happy reunion and for all the individual fans of father-daughter. And for the time being they can feast on their respective films, ACTION REPLAYY and GOLMAAL 3, both set for an exciting clash this ‘Diwali’.
