Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan and Kunal Roy Kapoor were supposed to holiday together for Mohit Suri’s film produced by Ramesh Taurani.

But just in time, the team discovered that the film was eerily similar to Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD). Hence, they decided to shelve the project.

A source told Mumbai Mirror, “Rather than risk being labelled a copycat, Taurani has decided to shelve the film, wasting the actors’ already blocked dates. Who would have accepted another film about three guys on a journey of self-discovery so soon after the original film?”

When contacted, Ramesh Taurani didn’t revert.

Interestingly, there are at least three other films based on the same theme by Rohit Jugraj, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and David Dhawan.
