After slick thriller remake – DON, from Excel Films, Farhan Akhtar takes back seat as Producer in Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd.. Reema Kagti, who has assisted Farah in DCH, Lakshya and Ashutosh in Lagaan makes her directorial debut by this film. She is trying out something of low profile (starcast, look-n-feel) in this family entertainer. The movie about six married couples who goes to Goa for their honeymoon. The movie stars most of the well known character artists of bollywood including some new ones.

Arjun Rampal is all geared up for his forthcoming first home production movie – I See You. Arjum himself plays the male lead, while a new comer Vipasha has been casted opposite him. Its not bad for a actor to turn into produre, even top actors like Amitabh Bachchan (ABCL) and Shah Rukh Khan (Dreamz Unlimited, Red Chillies) have tried their hands. The problem with the movie is that, its complete rip off of last year’s Reese Witherspoon starrer – JUST LIKE HEAVEN (2005).

Nikhil Advani has already confessed his second outing Salaam-e-Ishq has been inspired from hollywood flick Love Actually.
After directing Karan Johar magnum Kal Ho Na Ho, Nikhil feels he have grown enough to make something better independently. With huge starcast and six different parallel love stories between those characters makes Salaam-e-Ishq different from regular bollywood romance fare.

Trailer/Promo/Teaser

The movie is about a theatrical group from India who has to perform in London. The actors in the group include Akshay, who is the villain in the play, Govinda who plays the hero and Paresh Rawal who owns the repertory. At the airport, the heroine of the play, who is fed up of Akshay and Govinda, fails to turn up. So once in London, they have to look for a new heroine. Sanjay Dutt will make a guest appearance in the film.

Paresh Rawal seems to be continuing with his Hera Pheri accessories as he wears the “Baburao’sâ€Â? bifocals in this film too. Now, all the three favourite heroes of ours are on the run. The backdrop are the beautiful locations of London city. It looks like the trio Govinda, Akshay and Paresh Rawal are in a major soup. They are running helter skelter all the time.

Storyline

Paresh Rawal has a theatre group in India and he performs shows all over the country. Akshay and Govinda along with others are actors in the group. Both are very naughty natured guys who never miss any chance to flirt with girls, even the girls in the group. At the completion of one show, an organizer offers Paresh’s group to perform 30 shows in England. They all get very excited but as per the contract they need to leave for England on the same day. Unfortunately the heroine of the play opts out due to Akshay’s misbehavior.

They reach London and through Rajpal, a taxi driver, Govinda and Akshay try to find out a girl for their play but it leads to many misunderstandings and a series of funny sequences. In this process, Govinda and Akshay fall into trouble involving a drug baron and other mishaps.

Thereafter, the trio discovers a girl (Lara Dutta), who suffers from amnesia to act in their drama and just as Akshay and Lara fall in love, her memory returns and it brings chaos into their lives, including a murdered husband!

From here the story leads to its climax in which a major conspiracy gets exposed.

Apna Sapna Money Money is a fast paced situational comedy that revolves around a bunch of madcap characters that eat, drink, sleep and worship money. The story revolves around a mechanic, a conman, a club dancer, an upright cop, an obsessed father and his homely daughter, a tabela owner, a ruthless gangster, a deadly don and his moll and an unpredictable dog. A journey filled with rib-tickling moments throughout.
