Movie Review: Agneepath (2012)
Posted on 25. Jan, 2012 by musicNmovies.info in 2012
The humongous box office success of recent action movies adapted from South (Wanted, Ready, Bodygaurd) seems to have got into the head of glossy socio-romance movie maker Karan Johar’s head, which tempted him to try his hands once again upon genre least tried by him – Action/Thriller.
Before getting into detail analysis and comparison with old Agneepath, and weigh the pros and cons of the movie, I can easily say; The new version of Agneepath has patched up whatever loopholes the old one had and is a clear winner and might probably be the first success of 2012.
Movie Review: Don 2 (2011)
Posted on 23. Dec, 2011 by musicNmovies.info in 2011
With expectation soaring high, DON 2 finally hit the screen with much of hoopla. While Aamir had been ruling Christmas season, this year SRK has chosen to make his mark on both Diwali and Christmas. Well, we know the fate of Diwali, the firecrackers didn’t sparkle as expected, and now with DON 2 he might need Santa Claus to make this Christmas merrier.
Last year it was Tees Maar Khan and Don 2 this year both have disappointed. After dynamic remake of DON few years ago Farhan promised the sequel to be much more thrilling and above all an original script. Don 2 could be perfect example of our current Indian Cinema scenario where makers invests thousands of dollars on costume, makeup, sets, locations but never think of main essence required to make a good movie – Script !
Movie Review: Ra.One (2011)

After nearly three months break, thought of watching any Bollywood movie, that too special premiere screening in Kathmandu. Seriously, the movie is a giant leap in terms of special effects and Computer Graphics, but was bit led down with the core storyline. Notice the word ‘bit’, the movie does have a appealing and novel script; father-son relationship with modern day Computer Gaming Backdrop where you never know when a virtual gaming life turns into real life.

Movie Review: Break Ke Baad (2010)

After the coffee drinking director Karan Johar made “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998)”, the Bollywood movie makers were convinced that a puppy-love story would sell out easily even after a decade. They are still churning out type-cast romantic comedies meant for the urban-chic teenagers believing that they are monkeys who come to watch their movies and would easily buy any peanuts they wish to sell.
Danish Aslam’s “Breal Ke Baad” is one such example.

Movie Review: Action Replay (2010)
Posted on 05. Nov, 2010 by musicNmovies.info in 2010, Reviews
What could have been memorable time travel to 70s turns into some mediocre 80s cinema experience. As soon as the movie starts the time travel, the images, people and locales just mesmerizes you. People who were born in doordarshan era automatically travels back to time along with the movie. For new generation, it would just fascinate them to unravel the Rajesh Khanna era.
All the vigor, enthusiasm just vapors into thin air after initial few reels due to loose screenplay and wafer thin storyline. Despite, very convincible performances by all the major actors even the new comers, the movie falls flat without any kind JHATKA as one of the promises.

Movie Review: Anjana Anjani (2010)
Posted on 04. Oct, 2010 by K Bedeshwar in 2010, Reviews
In today’s Bollywood, the filmmakers definitely cannot take filmmaking that lightly. No more can they just play with the regular clichés in the films. While the filmmakers are experimenting different styles, the audiences are being served with a potpourri of eclectic films to tickle their fancy.
After directing the run-off-the-mill films like Salaam Namaste, Ta Ra Rum Pum and Bachna Ae Haseeno, director Siddharth Anand has experimented with just two characters in his latest venture Anjana Anjani. The story of the film is not radical, it doesn’t bring anything new to the table, however, director Anand’s experiment doesn’t go to waste in terms of presentation.
