Yes, much awaited Salman, Big B & Priyanka starrer – God Tussi Great Ho is nothing but Xerox of Hollywood blockbuster Bruce Almighty (starring Jim Carrey & Morgan Freeman).

Well the similarity ends here, God Tussi Great Ho experience is not even 1% of what Bruce Almighty was – so you know the verdict!

Well in short if loved Anees Bazmee’s past outing’s like Welcome, No Entry, then there is high chance you will also love – Singh is Kinng, atleast Happy Singh !

Singh is Kinng is zero logic mindless comedy treading David Dhawan path with lot of gags, slapstick and offbeat humor. Plus Akki once again shows his fear factor dare devil stunts.

Aziz Mirza, the man behind, Srk’s Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Yes Boss and many light hearted soft-core romantic movies still continues his trend with Kismat Konnection. It’s true, you can’t teach old monkey new trick. So, monkey uncle, I mean Mirza uncle simply derives Kismat Konnection main plot from the Hollywood movie – Just My Luck!, starring Lindsay Lohan. The movie seems to be also inspired from some other Hollywood romantic comedies like – Two Weeks’ Notice, Notting Hil, When Harry Met Sally, etc.

After watching the movie, first day first show, only thing I could say is – Only Kismat can save this movie in the Box Office.

What would happen when outdated 1990 love story with clichéd dialogues meets sci-fi gizmos FX world?
Neither you will be able to digest the story nor will your brain grasp the glaring proceedings on the screen. Unfortunately, Harman Baweja’s launch pad (whooping 55 Cr. Project) Love Story 2050 has nothing to pull the audiences to theater.

After dud “AAG” RGV surprised everyone with Sarkar Raj. One phrase to define RGV’s latest sequel of Sarkar is ‘Exciting, Thrilling and Beyond Imagination’.

All the critics who wrote off Ram Gopal Verma because of AAG will now definitely have to give standing ovation for Sarkar Raj, because he deserves it. Superb screenplay, classic close up cinematography and dynamic performance by every cast in the movie makes Sarkar Raj a must see movie of this year.

One of the much awaited movie of 2008 finally hit the screen today – Jodhaa Akbar, and as always how could I miss the first day first show, after all it had my long time dream girl Aishwarya :-) and I had to write this review…

Jodhaa Akbar is a pretty well made movie and gives you the deja vu of epics like Mahabharat, Chanakya and more recently Prithivi Raj Chauhan. Bollywood have not attempted something like this at least on such large scale. Despite strong story, backed by well established cast and crew, the movie does lack in the screenplay and editing department which disappoints you bit. Hrithik after dashing performance in Dhoom 2, still proves his versatility as Badshah Akbar, Aishwarya fulfills her role with panache and so does all supporting cast in this 3 hours 20 minutes historical love and war journey.

After Jab We Met, movie makers are once again using their grey cells. Finally they understood you need to have good script presented in an interesting way to withhold audience attention for two and half hours. Glossy eye candy locales or hot dangling phoren babes can’t entertain more than front benchers. That’s what Sunday gives; ample doses of comedy, gripping storyline and a kinda whodunit mystery. Though the movie isn’t any path-braking revolution, but the screenplay and subplots makes the movie pretty interesting.
