After taking the softer route without success in Vedham, where he worked hard at uniting an estranged couple, Arjun returns to directing the kind of movie that suits his ‘Action King’ sobriquet.Based on a Telugu super-hit Narasimha Naidu, that broke all kinds of box-office records in A.P, Ezhumalai is packed with violence, glamor and sentiments - all ingredients needed for box-office success.But the story itself is an age-old revenge tale that offers nothing new and so, the proceedings are predictable, most of the time.

47 Rojulu (47 days) is a 1981 Indian Telugu language Drama film directed by K. Balachander starring Chiranjeevi, Jaya Prada, Sarath Babu and Ramaprabha. It was simultaneously made into in Tamil as 47 Naatkal Actress Saritha plays herself in a guest role. The film is based on a novel by Sivashankari.
Siva (Jeeva) meets Sakthi (Anuya) during a train journey. To impress the girl, Siva says that he is an army officer while Sakthi says she is an air hostess. But the truth gets revealed very soon.Sakthi is a radio jockey while Siva ekes out livelihood working as a delivery boy in a courier company.They turn cat and mouse.They vow to disturb the peace of each other and curdle their lives.
There is a saying that the spirit of a deceased person who succumbed to untimely demise would not leave this earth. The spirit would stay on the earth to complete the unfulfilled task. Arundhati is a thriller made on the tussle between such a spirit (Anushka) and a villain (Sonu Sood). This film is not a horror film, but a thriller.Arundhati is a film that must be watched in a good theater with nice sound/projection system. This is one of the movies which is going to take telugu movie industry to new heights.
Chennai Kadhal
With his innocent looks, everyone thought that he could not play professional killer to good extent. But, Mahesh proved his critics wrong once again in this action drama. Though movie started as a pure action oriented, it slowly goes towards family drama. With few hiccups which are quite natural in mainstream cinema, Athadu is a must watch for Mahesh’ performance, good music and lavish production values. Kudos to Mahesh.
