A comedy of mistaken (gender) identity in which the bluff, retired military man (Ranga Rao) raises his daughter Murali (Jamuna) as though she were a son. She loves and is to marry Krishna (Nageshwani Rao) when a painter. Lakshmikantam (Haranath), appears. Murali had written letters of appreciation believing him to be a woman. When Lakshmikantam wants to marry Murali, she persuades her friend Srilatha (Sharada) to pretend to be Murali. a subterfuge that works until the painter turns out to be a friend of Murali’s fiance.

Athanokkade is a 2005 Telugu film which was directed by Surender Reddy.This film stars Kalyan Ram,Sindhu Tolani, and Ashish Vidyarthi.Music was scored by Mani Sharma.This film was a big hit at box office.At the age of 11 ,Ram’s family and Anjali’s family…(They both are cousins) members get killed by Anna (Ashish Vidyarthi).Ram’s father is Prakash Raj ,who is an ACP.Due to a conflict between Anna and Ram’s father, he kills the complete family.In that tragic incident every one gets killed except Anjali(small girl by then), Ram and their uncle.Ram gets adopted into a different family and Anjali lives with her uncle.They both are not aware of the other’s survival in that incident.How Ram and Anjali take revenge on Anna is the remaining Plot.
It is a story of bi-gamy where Shoban babu is forced to marry both his maternal and paternal cousins. Rambha born to Shoban babu and Vanishree is actually brought up by her step mother Sharda. Finally she comes to know who here real mother is. Satyanarayana plays Shoban babu’s father. Also featuring are Kota Srinivasa rao, Brahmanandam and Babu Mohan.
Kamal Hassan’s Dasavatharam, from the begining to the end is dominated by the incredible performance by the ‘Universam Star’ Kamal Haasan.If there is something else that is as electrifying as the performance of Kamalhaasan, it is the make-up by Michael Westmore and the high standards of cinematography.For the movie goers bored with conventional formula movies, Dasavatharam gives a novel story on bio-war was moulded on the screen in a different way.The gripping screenplay, the ebullient performance of Kamal Haasan in 10 different characters, which is in no way connected with each other and with a vast variation made ‘Dasavatharam’ a fantastic and marvellous piece on the celluloid.
Aatadista has an inconsistent script, mediocre direction and absolutely no novelty. Nitin concentrates on his dancing skills and nothing else. Kajal has little to do and she has definitely done better work, both in terms of her character and the movie itself. The main negative character played by Sivaprasad has nothing new to offer apart from a marchpast walk. The music is nothing to write home about and the movie itself is very disappointing.
Parugu is a Telugu film that released on May 1, 2008 and is directed by Bhaskar.Allu Arjun, Sheela and Poonam Bajwa play the lead roles.Dil Raju, a big-time producer, produces the film whilst Mani Sharma composes the music.The movie premiered in Prasads IMAX on April 30th at 10:15PM.
Director Ramana gives a good account of himself with his debut film. The film offers everything from love, Drama, Family sentiment to comedy and action. However, the violence element in this film has gone beyond the limit and looks little bit high in content.
This story seems to be little bit diluted by the old classic Mutyalla Muggu. But it is for sure that the concept is that same.The only thing is that in SUNDARAKANDA the girl decides to re- unite her mother with her husband who happens to be her father too.The character of the beautiful girl is played by Charmy, who in the character of Pinky has given her best in this movie. Her beauty and her curves are well highlighted in the movie, in the Indian -Andhra attires.
Chennai Kadhal
With his innocent looks, everyone thought that he could not play professional killer to good extent. But, Mahesh proved his critics wrong once again in this action drama. Though movie started as a pure action oriented, it slowly goes towards family drama. With few hiccups which are quite natural in mainstream cinema, Athadu is a must watch for Mahesh’ performance, good music and lavish production values. Kudos to Mahesh.
