Well, after so many baised opinions (almost 80% being negative) about the movie. I finally had to put movie FANAA under my Moviescope. It’s a microscope for movies, so called Movie-scope.

Before getting into detials about moviescope, lets see why I had to reach for this moviescope. It all started from IndiaFm, where Mr. Taran Adarsh, well-known bollywood movie critic gave 4/5 rating for movie Fanaa. But just an hour later Rediff posted their review with 2/5 rating. How come such differentaited opinion.
Well you could argue, its just individaul taste. Like someone loves sweet while others sour, same could be right for these critics. But critics are not allowed to behave in such manner. They cannot be BAISED. They cannot have their preferences, atleast while writing reviews. And this time one of my favourite of both, Mr. Taran Adarsh(IndiaFM) faltered.

Lets see why?

It can well be termed as a casting coup of the decade. With the likes of Mahesh Bhatt, Shashi Kapoor, Viveik Oberoi, Urmila Matondkar and Nafisa Ali joining hands together, it makes for a highly exciting venture! But no, don’t run your imaginations wild by expecting all of them to be associated with each other for a movie. Instead it is for a noble cause, as they participate in a ‘Say No To Tobacco’ initiative launched by India’s premier multiplex chain – PVR Cinemas.

Yash Raj films are churning out more and more daring and different movies every year. With captainship under son Aditya Chopra, every year YRaj movies are increasing both qualititively and quantitively. No more can audiences attach YASH RAJ FILMS as timid romance tag with movies like Dhoom, Neal n Nikki and lately Fanaa.

Well, this year will witness the toughest competition between Aamir & Shahrukh each coming up with bigger project than other in forthcoming days. While Aamir already have, RDB on his belt and have high hopes for Fanaa, SRK is betting on Kabhi Alvida Na Kahena and Happy New Year. While the titans fight, the dark horse of bollywood, Hrithik Roshan too makes this year much more tougher for Khan’s with his forthcoming magnum opus Krrish.

Madhur Bhandarkar is famous for his hard-hitting national award winner movies like Chandani Bar, Page 3 and Satta. After success of Page 3 in 2005, Bhandarkar have aimed to come out with yet another two movies looking into mumbain lifestyle of so called high society.
While Page 3 was mere surface level which highlighted social lifestlyes of mumbains, his forthcoming Corporate and Trafic Signal will indulge more specifically into particular issue of Mumbai.
