Omkara (2006) Movie Review Second inning of Vishal Bhardhawaj with Shakespeare’s literature after Maqbool (adaptation of Macbeth) just cements the fact that good story can never be old. This movie could be direct slap to those so-called big movie makers, who bet on big star cast, foriegn locales , glam gimmicks.

Yun Hota To Kya Hota (2006) ReviewDirectorial debut of bollywood’s prominent actor - Naseerudhin Shah, promises a lot but delivers less. Four distantly related stories running in parallel, which crosses path only in the penultimate reels, seems pretty huge task for an ingenious actor but rookie director.

Not all good ideas turn into good movie, and same might have happen to YHTKH. Tilottima, Salim, Rahul and Rajubhai from four disparate worlds, with distinct hopes and diverse motives, encounter something drastic which changes their lives forever !

22

July

Killer (2006) Movie Review Bhatt camp does once again for what they are best known for, - a copycat thriller. After Murder, Zeher, Gangster, etc they brings adaptation of Hollywood’s Collateral - as Killer. The story of a cabbie and a hit man and the series of murders that take place in one night.

The Killer is a story about a carefree taxi driver Nikhil (Emraan Hashmi) and a cold-blooded contract killer Shekhar (Irrfan). The pace of the narrative is quite rapid. Irrfan’s cool detachment and his funny conversations with the taxi driver build up a definite chemistry between them. Their quirky verbal exchanges add to the pace and substance of the movie.

Aishwarya Rai - Classes to MassesA tulip named after her, a first Indian Lady to get on Wall of Fame - Dubai, A face of Lakhme, Loreal Paris, Nakhestra Daimonds and India Today quoting her as ‘Indian Goddess’.
