During a recent chat with the maker of Jodha Akbar starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai, we got to know that there was supposed to have an intimate sequence between Aishwarya & Hrtihik (much hotter than Dhoom 2 kiss scene), but unfortunately, the Maker had to cut-off those scenes.

India has always been male dominant society, no matter how much the woman proclaims they are equal to their male counter-parts at the end of the day, it’s always the MAN of the house who makes the final decision. No, I am not talking about 19th century or village lifestyle, nor am I talking about lives of those woman living below the poverty line or are illiterate. This is true Metro Life of Bollywood stars.

It was in Dhoom 2, the KISS between Aishwarya & Hrithik which made more news than Hrithik’s stunts. As Aishwarya was soon to get married with Abhishek, the Bachchan family members didn’t want their soon to be Bahu kissing the other guy on screen. So, upon heavy request from the Bachchan family, that kiss was chopped off from the movie, even after a month after its release.

Now if Aishwarya had kissed Hrithik, on screen as per the storyline, what was the big deal?
Aren’t they just portraying those characters? Why wasn’t Hrithik given such pressure? After all he is also an equal partner in that crime.
Moreover Hrithik was a married man, but still there was no such issue from his family members. Surprisingly, he was talking flamboyant about the kiss and how his own wife (Suzane) encouraged him to give his best shot (kiss). Had Suzane been in Aishwarya’s place and Hrithik was not the actor whom she would have kissed, I would doubt that Hrithik would hardly say the same thing.

That was the past, let’s get into present. In Jodha Akbar, the period film portraying love story between Jodha & Akbar, Aishwarya & Hrithik was supposed to play one intimate scene where Hrithik was supposed to place his lips over Aiswarya’s. As an expression of love, he was supposed to carry her on his arms and slowly bend towards her and kiss her. Though everything was agreed upon before hand, Aishwarya, started showing her tantrums regarding the scene. Suddenly, media & press started covering the issue and finally it was found out that, it was not Aishwarya, who had problem with the scene but it was the Bachchan family who didn’t wanted her to perform that act.

Mr. Amitabh Bachchan himself had played Mr. Sam, the playboy character, KANK. He had played a love-stricken old man who lusts teenager girl in Nishabd. Isn’t he still respected inspite of playing such characters ?
He is, as we all know those were just the characters he was playing.

Abhishek was recently spotted smooching Lara Dutta onscreen in Jhoom Barabar Jhoom for the second time (they had already lip-locked in Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost), so why they are having problem if Aishwarya kisses some other actor. It’s all fair when Abhishek goes on kissing Lara, getting intimate on screen with Preity. But its not right when Aishwarya does the same?

Isn’t this called hypocrisy, and it comes from none other than Bachchan Family?
The family which, the whole film fraternity looks up.

Weren’t these the guys (both junior & senior Bachchan), who were applauding Mallika for her guts on Koffe with Karan show.
Were they just belittling and making fun of her?

All I can say to Bachchan Family is;

Everyone knows to preach, but learn to practice!
