After hit Dil To Pagal Hai in 90s, Yash Raj Flims yet betting upon another musical with Madhuri Dixit in her comeback movie - Aaja Nachle, but after Jhoom Barabar Jhoom & Laaga Chunari Mein Daag this one doesn’t strike the chord. Apart from Madhuri (and her dances) and the climax musical drama, the movie had nothing interesting to hold the audience for two and half hours.

2007 Diwali will be definitely remembered for very long time, courtesy - Om Shanti Om. It was fireworks full of stars on the screen and above all the shining moon - Shah Rukh Khan. Let’s clear few things first; Om Shanti Om is good combination all previous re-incarnation blockbusters like - Karz, Mehbooba, Karan Arjun and specially Madhumati regarding the climax. It has everything to make complete Bollywood entertainer - Stars, Music, Melodrama and mainly script. Undoubtedly, Om Shanti Om will be one of the blockbusters of the year, if not the biggest and credits - Shah Rukh Khan. Yes, I am the same reviewer who bashed Chak De India.
What started off as an innocent Diwali celebration event, turned out to be a dhamaka of sorts, with some drama unfolding off stage between Big B and SRK. A host of Bollywood stars turned up for the annual Diwali mela organised by Mumbai police on Sunday evening at Andheri Sports complex. The Mumbai police Diwali night, usually has a very good star turn-out, for obvious reasons. And like previous years, there were some scintillating performances lined up too.
Well, diwali came early this year for Bollywood moviegeors. Even before the biggies battle - Om Shanti Om & Saawariya, two unexpected movies made big business this year - Bhool Bhulaiya & Jab We Met. Bhool Bhulaiya made it big in West Bengal with all time blockbuer record and maintaining super hit status all India. With such an unsual eerie story and regular doses of rib-tickling, the movie clicked with the audience. Though the movie was not upto the mark, its screenplay and execution was actually big led down until last 30 mins, the movie did enormous business of above 30 Crores.
Another surprise hit was last weeks release Jab We Met…
It was eighties when angry young man of Bollywood was on the rise and was giving hits after hits every friday. Next superstar was in the making, once tall and unusal face man was now making place in everyones heart. But despite Zanzeer, Sholay, Deewar, Amar Akbar Anthony, Naseeb, etc Big B has share of even worst times in his filmi career. We ponder into some of his Black Fridays which almost brought him down to pennies.
