The much talked-about war between Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan is soon going to be public. The war for the number one position will be at its peak when Shah Rukh Khan’s Billoo Barber will clash with Akshay Kumar’s Chandni Chowk to China at the marquee.
In the past couple of years, Akshay Kumar has delivered hits consistently and is said to be on par with Shah Rukh Khan in his box-office status and hence is a threat to SRK’s numero uno throne. He is already the most sought after actor and that’s why Nikhil Advani’s film Chandni Chowk to China is tipped to be very hot in the trade circuit.
Keeping this in mind, according to trade insiders, the publicity strategy of Chandni… is planned in such a way that it would be able to hold on its own despite Shah Rukh’s Billoo Barber releasing simultaneously. Knowing SRK, it is obvious that he will go all out to promote his film. So Akshay and Advani have already planned to start off with the teaser promo of their film to show with Akshay’s film Singh Is Kinng. With both sides pitted equally, it’s well worth the wait to check out who will win the battle.

What Akshay and Number ONE???? And that opposite SHAH RUKH KHAN too !!! Who says so?? Only 2007 he has got and that as well, we can’t say solo hits either. Sharukh ‘The King Of Bollywood’ the only actor in bollywood film industry in recent past since it’bollywood’ became popular, no one had been called King. Sharukh is a king and I believe he will keep this title for next 10 years or so.
I will say that Akshay is a good entertainer, as doing stunts by himself, and an average actor, his plot is in fifth or sixth place……….. far away from 2nd and 3rd…….. Akshay can enjoy the 1st position as a king in dream………sweet dream

Well cut all the crap… Ok no one is king… by the way guys somebody have mentioned a lot many SRK films and Akshay’s films too….I don’t think that anyone is king ……SRK is a good actor but if he does movies like chak de, swades, Devdas ,Don and DDLJ. Om Shanti om can’t be compare to any of his fimes as it was pathetic. That became hit due to publicity and prmotion. I hope everybody would know that. Same holds true for Akshay sir also. No doubt he is the best entertainer but Singh is King would have failed big time without publicity and promotion… Namastey London was his best picture in last year.
I like both of them but not in each and every film. Noone is compared to Amir Khan (but still he is also not good in each and evry film ) but off lately he has shown the world that he is still the best. Amit sir , I would say is the best actor other than Amir Khan who has done a lot many masterpieces..
So stop fighting on kings and try to watch cinema with substance. Try n watch movies like Taare Zameen par and A Wednesday and you will feel what a real suprstar you can find in Nasir ShaH………
