It’s a honor to work with ace filmmaker Aparna Sen but recently Kajol has turned down her offer as the script failed to impress her. The film titled ‘Iti Mrinalini’ and it is supposedly based on Aparna Sen’s real life. Kajol has been decided to play the younger Aparna Sen while Aparna herself to play the ageing actress but surprisingly Kajol rejected the offer.Aparna chose Kajol as her father was a Bengali and the language is known to her. The source says, “After chasing the young actress for some months to hear a narration, she got a date from her but fifteen minutes into the narration, Kajol excused herself and walked out.

Yes, our desi girl Priyanka Chopra will be in Toronto for the 34th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) next month as her movie What’s Your Raashee? is going to make its world premiere there. Among the guests at the fest will be the debonair Hollywood star George Clooney. But will the two get to meet and greet? Dunno yet.Besides ‘What’s Your Rashee?’, Yashraj Films Dil Bole Hadippa will also premiere at the illustrious festival. Rani Mukherjee and director Anurag Singh have been invited, so are Lisa Ray, Harman Baweja, Abhay Deol, Bengali director Buddhadeb Dasgupta, Deepa Mehta’s brother Dilip Mehta, documentary maker Vikram Jayanti and Ashutosh Gowariker, but Shahid Kapur’s name is missing from the list that boasts of around 500 celebrities.

‘Quick Gun Murugun’ has already won an important fan! The hero of the movie, Dr Rajendra Prasad, has impressed our Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan. A special screening of ‘Quick Gun Murugun’ was held recently in the city. And Aamir, who seemed to have got interested with its trailer, had attended it. He has even typed his praises about the movie in his blog, which goes, “Just saw Quick Gun Murugun. Really enjoyed it. I think fans of the Channel [V] character Quick Gun Murugan will love it. It’s got so many rib-cracking moments. And a very well-pitched performance by lead actor Dr Rajendra Prasad, and all the other cast. Kim Sharma is finally getting married! The Mohabbatein actress, who was earlier involved with cricketer Yuvraj Singh, has got over her ugly break-up with him and is all set to walk down the isle with Spanish boyfriend, Carlos Marin. The wedding will take place in February 2010.Kim travels a lot, and on one of her tours, she met Carlos. Carlos, the frontline vocalist for the Spanish band, Il Divo, was sure of his feelings for her and proposed marriage to her. Kim agreed and now she has been seen trousseau shopping, stacking up on designer labels and verbally inviting all their close friends.
