Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Soha Ali Khan enthralled sports lovers with their badminton skills at a tournament in Mumbai on Thursday.Deepika teamed up with her father Prakash Padukone who happens to be the best badminton player India has ever produced while Soha played with Aparna Popat.Deepika seemed overjoyed to participate in the Tata Open badminton tournament.

The International Indian Film Academy Awards is Bollywood’s truly global award show, where the entire film industry and the general public votes for the nominees.The award ceremony is held in an international city to promote Indian cinema worldwide.Hence the IIFA Awards 2008 are being held in Bangkok, Thailand on June 6, 2008. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan film ‘Sarkar Raj’ were premiered on the first day of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards.

One of the most popular awards of Bollywood, Star-Screen Awards, has been telecasted on 27th January 2008 on star plus recently featuring the winner of different categories based on their performance in 2007.Depsite lackluster nomination list, the show was actually above my expectation, and after all it was my time to watch Star Screen Awards Live instead of on tube.
