SRK, Kajol and Karan Johar the trio who have never given a single flop. Even in the movies, where Kajol has just a guest appearance. Moreover, Kajol and SRK have never failed to impress both critics and audience alike. Awards, Huge Box Office collection have always followed these stars. So, My Name Is Khan had huge expectations. People have been waiting for months for this movie release and luckily I got a chance to watch the first day, first show.
To simply put into words; My Name Is Khan is an average movie, which could have been better movie with good screenplay, dialogue and even with editing. Karan has tried to include too many things into 2:40 Hrs; Autism problem, Romance, 9/11, Post 9/11 torture, Human behavior in trauma, US people psychology over Muslims, Jihad movement, etc.

Finally the moment has come to annouce the winners of 16th Star Screen Awards 2010. The award function took place on 9th January 2010, and we couldn’t miss the show live. The recorded version will be aired only next weekend and we promise you all to bring it online as soon as we get hands upon the final edited version at
3 Idiots seems to have swept aside every film of consequence that released this year. Such is the impact of the film, a lot of which has to do with its late release, that every other movie that came before it, seems to be dwarfed in comparison. And this is a year which has seen films like ‘Dev D’, ‘Gulaal’, ‘Firaaq’, ‘Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year’, ‘Kaminey’, ‘Paa’ and ‘Love Aaj Kal’, all of which have stretched the language of Hindi cinema in their own manner. But ‘3 Idiots’ seems all set to bag most major awards. An indication of things to come was received when the film received 21 nominations out of 28 categories in the forthcoming 16th Annual Screen Awards.
Mohit Suri, Vikesh Flims, Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt along with Emraan Hashmi what would you expect besides strip down Hollywood movies, but with good story adaptation and excellent execution. Well, this time too they don’t disappoint. Raaz - The Mystery Continues seems to be loosely inspired from Hollywood flicks - ‘The Ring’ (Well Scene), Da Vinci Code and many others. You can see Mohit nearing the perfection with every film of his and definitely, Raaz - The Murder Continues is one fine example of it. Raaz- TMC is a paranormal horror story merging Hindu mythology, its tribunal exorcist rituals and urbane life. Raaz as the name suggests is full of twists and turns and will scare hell out of you with its background score, unexpected scary scenes, etc.
Finally, Bollywood delivers Hollywood level movie with Chandani Chowk to China (CC2C). It is not just because the movie is being backed by Time Warner Hollywood Studio, but its story, backdrop, action and above all performance of Akshay Kumar raises the movies bar.
It’s very sad to see big directors falters. Despite a serious attempt to make something different from regular glossy Yash Raj Flims, Aditya Chopra fails to create magic with this years most awaited movie - Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Its not that the movie is complete crap, the movie does have some finest moments but in total due to lack of interesting plots and screenplay in second half the movie fails to impress in total.
