The ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ Anushka Sharma is smitten by Ranbir Kapoor’s every move and she desperately wanted to be his leading lady in Imtiaz Ali’s new venture ‘Rockstar’. To grab Ranbir, Anushka Sharma is making a round of Imtiaz Ali’s office. For the role, Imtiaz wants someone who looks like a Kashmiri girl and could speak fluent Hindi, hopefully Anushka fulfills both the criteria.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan Tuesday urged Indian filmmakers ‘to learn from Hollywood’ and offered a three-point prescription which could help the globalization of Bollywood movies. Speaking at the inaugural session of ‘FICCI FRAMES-2010′, Shah Rukh said that Indian filmmakers must learn screenplay writing techniques, visual effects and discipline in doing movie business from Hollywood.
‘However, learning Hollywood screenplay and technology is not about losing the intrinsic quality of our stories. We must maintain our own cinematic individuality,’ he said.

In a first for Abhishek Bachchan, the star turned guru to give an Actor’s Masterclass as part of the Tongues on Fire 12th Asian Film festival. At a central London cinema, Bollyspice was in the audience to get the gyaan from Junior B. To a packed audience of film fans and industry professionals, Bachchan opened the session by announcing he was not a follower of method acting, “I once tried being in character for three or four days and it was very boring”. Bachchan believes this system does not suit the cinema coming out of Bollywood, “In a Hindi film the characters do everything. So what character exactly are you going to play?”

Salman Khan isn’t too happy with the way a song’ ‘Tere Mast Mast Do Naina’ shot for his home production Dabanng, was choreographed (by Sabina Khan). Sources reveal that Salman now wants to re-shoot the entire song. A source from the set says, “Salman and Sonakshi have shot for the song. It’s a romantic number shot against a village backdrop. However, Salman wanted it to be a lavish love song with high production values.”
Aamir Khan has known Lata Mangeshkar since his childhood when she would visit his home to meet his father (the late Tahir Hussain). But the bonding between the two grew really strong when she praised Aamir for his singing in Aati Kya Khandala, observing that he held his sur right to the end of the song.
