WWE Smackdown: Batista vs Umaga

Batista may be leaving Smackdown but tonight he got to face a new member of Smackdown.Umaga has come over from Raw and had to face Batista as a welcome match here.This was like a rematch from Wrestlemania 24.Umaga actually did good in the match by controlling most of the match.Batista gained momentum late in the match though and was shaking the ropes, stomping his feet and getting ready to end the match when La Familia ended up coming in and attacking him.

Hawkins, Ryder, Edge and Chavo Guerrero all were in the ring and all were stomping on Batista and giving him a beating.Umaga then wanted them to back away as he wanted to finish Batista himself.Umaga continued working on Batista as La Familia cheered him on and Batista looked as if he was about to pass out. Umaga then went to the top ropes but someone gave him a pull from behind.

It was Triple H who then went in the ring and cleaned house. Batista found some energy left and hit his Batista bomb on Ryder, Triple H hit his Pedigree on Hawkins and all Edge could do is walk back up the ramp with a disgusted look on this face. This was the WWE Smackdown results for 06-27-08.
