Police Inspector Vijay lives a wealthy lifestyle in Bombay, India, along with his Bua, while his widower dad lives in the countryside in a farmhouse. Vijay meets and falls in love with Uma, who subsequently moves in as a tenant in his Bua’s house along with her dad, Jagmohan and her mom. When Jagmohan finds out that Uma also loves Vijay he forbids her to see him, but subsequently relents when she poisons herself.

Victoria No. 203 is a 1972 Hindi film produced and directed by Brij.The film stars Navin Nischol, Saira Banu, Ranjeet, Anwar Hussain, Helen and in an inspired bit of casting -Ashok Kumar and Pran- who play key supporting roles in the film and who earned the only Filmfare nominations for the film.The music by Kalyanji Anandji and the roles of Ashok Kumar and Pran made this a “superhit” at the box office.
The Verma family consists of Mrs. Verma, the mother; Anil, the son; and a daughter named Vinnie. Anil loves Shobha, and hopes to marry her someday. While Vinnie loves Rakesh and also hopes to marry him someday too. Shobha and Rakesh both work for JK, a multi-millionaire industrialist. Anil has to goes overseas for a year to better his prospects. He promises to stay in touch with Shobha. 
Tawaif is a Bollywood movie released in 1985. It was produced by B.R. Chopra and directed by Aleem Mansoor.It mainly is a film about a tawaif or a courtesan.This movie is among Bollywood’s underrated films which won Filmfare awards in 1986 for Best Dialogue Writer Dr. Rahi Masoom Reza and Best Story Writer Aleem Masroor.Rishi Kapoor delivers a good performance, Poonam is alright, kader Khan is good in a brief role, but Rati stole the show.I rate this film highly as it has a little comedy, Family drama, emotions and romance. 
Rudaali is a 1993 Hindi film directed by the Feminist Indian director Kalpana Lajmi, based on the short story written by famous Bengali litterateur Mahasweta Devi.The title is a reference to a custom in certain areas of Rajasthan where women of a lower caste are hired as professional mourners upon the death of upper-caste males.These women are referred to as a ‘rudaali’ (roo-dah-lee), literally translated as ‘female weeper’ or “Weeping Woman”.Their job is to publicly express grief of family members who are not permitted to display emotion due to social status.
Directorial debut of Subhash Ghai, the movie starts with Din Dayal (Ajit) who is supposedly an honest rich man and a clean-hearted guy.However all this is a facade as he is a terror called LION in the world of crime.He is the man under whom black-marketing, smuggling and robberies flourish. No-one has an idea about his evil deeds.Not even his close friend IG P.N. Khanna (Prem Nath).Khanna is very worried at the sorry state of affairs in the city and state.He requests the government to bring back Inspector Prabhakar (Shatrughan Sinha) to the city as he is an honest and fearless cop. 
Bombay-based Professor Amar Verma lives a middle-class lifestyle with his wife, Shobha, and 6 year old son, Kunal. When a gang-war breaks out between Veljibhai and Chhapan Tikle alias Jimmy, a number of innocent bystanders fall victim, one of whom is Kunal. This devastates the Verma family, with Shobha walking out on Amar, who devotes his life to his students. 
Partho Ghosh’s ‘Dalaal’ is one of the finest entertainers from the mid 90’s.It was a Mega Blockbuster at the box office, when it released in 1993.The film fetched good initial collection due to its Super hit songs composed by Bappi Lahiri.Dalaal received 100% initial collection as the songs, especially “Gutur Gutur Chadh Gaya Upar Re” became a rage. Dalaal is among the Superhit films of 1993.
