Victoria No. 203 is a 1972 Hindi film produced and directed by Brij.The film stars Navin Nischol, Saira Banu, Ranjeet, Anwar Hussain, Helen and in an inspired bit of casting -Ashok Kumar and Pran- who play key supporting roles in the film and who earned the only Filmfare nominations for the film.The music by Kalyanji Anandji and the roles of Ashok Kumar and Pran made this a “superhit” at the box office.

Unemployed daydreamer, Vijay Kumar has one goal in his life, which is to marry his dream-girl.His dad has other plans, to get him married to Vandana, the daughter of his friend, Rajnath Nehle.While at a wedding ceremony, Vijay actually gets to see the girl from his dreams, appropriately named Sapna, both meet and decide they are meant for each other, little knowing that Sapna is none other than Vandana’s sister; and an admirer of Sapna, Bobby, will not stop at anything to make Sapna his wife.
Madhu (Nirupa Roy) marries the son, Ravi Anand (Balraj Sahni) of a mere employee in her Thakur brother’s (Iftekhar) household, and this results in her brother breaking all relations with her. Madhu moves in with Ravi, and his younger brother, Vijay (Randhir Kapoor). Years later, she gives birth to a son, and attempts to reconcile with her brother, to no avail. Then Vijay meets Neeta and both fall in love. Little does Vijay know that Neeta is none other Thakur’s daughter, who has already been promised to Benny Sinha (Narendranath).
