A thought often crosses my mind while watching some films. Do people involved in those films actually know what they’re making? This thought crossed my mind not once, twice or thrice, but several times while watching Impatient Vivek. One wonders what this film is all about. Is it a love story? Or is it about a dysfunctional family’s quarrels? Is it meant to make you laugh? Sadly, in this film the laughs are hard to come by.
Cast: Vivek Sudarshan, Sayali Bhagat
Finally, a movie that delivers what it promises! A sweet, simple, charming feel good story that will keep you smiling from beginning to end.
It sure seems to be a war of sexes taking over Bollywood with many anti-love films seeing the light of the day. Not too long ago came a complete boy-bashing movie Luv Ka The End and this week it’s time for the girls to face the wrath of the men community as a total anti-girl film Pyaar Ka Punchnama makes it to the theatres. So now it remains to see with this battle will find a closure or not.

One question that comes to mind after seeing Atull Agnihoutri’s Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha is–when will filmmakers in Bollywood move past the hangover of their fascination with over-sentimentality in romantic stories?A good love story can be told without making things soppy. But DNJAK reeks of mushy, tear jerking flavor, ‘seasoned’ with soppy dialogues that only sound soul-less after repetitions.Looking objectively, Atul had a pretty good story on his hands–even though it is inspired from the Hollywood film ‘Return To Me’.
