WWE Raw: Sin Cara & John Cena vs The Miz & Alex Riley

WWE Champion The Miz came out and talked about John Morrison replacing R-Trith in the triple threat match at Extreme Rules on 5/1. The Miz then revealed that match will be held inside a steel cage. Miz sat on a chair in the middle of the ring and started running down London. Sin Cara’s music hit and he interrupted Miz. John Cena then came out as well, to a very mixed reaction.

Five Superstars. One opportunity. The math added up to one grueling Five-Man Gauntlet Match as John Cena, R-Truth, John Morrison, Dolph Ziggler and Randy Orton vied for the opportunity to compete against WWE Champion The Miz at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
The battle of words between John Cena, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and WWE Champion The Miz officially turned into a war. In the wake of insults hurled about by each of these three men, tensions finally came to a head. The Great One fended off an attack by The Cleveland Screamer and his lackey, Alex Riley.
In typical Corre fashion, Wade Barrett and Ezekiel Jackson couldn’t stay away from the action. Their involvement cost Gabriel & Slater the match. But the disqualification conveniently preserved their titles. In a familiar Corre 4-on-1 onslaught, the odds were too much to overcome – even for two of WWE’s largest Superstars. Kane was brutally assaulted with sections of the steel ring steps, while Big Show was sent crashing through the announce table.
For the first time ever, John Cena, the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship, faced off against Alberto Del Rio, the No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. As the two men squared off, Del Rio’s former NXT Rookie, Brodus Clay watched from the Mexican elitist’s corner until the proceedings were interrupted by The Rock. Or at least what looked like The Rock. In actuality, it was WWE Champion The Miz dressed as The Brahma Bull.
