Ryder and Hawkins rushed in and said “he’s here”.Vickie was writing on a notepad and said it’s time to go out as a family and issue an apology.La Familia headed out to the ring.Vickie Guerrero, Chavo, Bam Neely, Ryder & Hawkins all were standing in the ring as Smackdown returned.

After wondering why on earth they would book this match for SS, I had an idea. Is it possible, that since they knew Stephanie would have their second child, that they made this main event? Since Triple H wasn’t on SD! this week (and maybe not on the next one either?), maybe they made this match so they didn’t have to waste a better main event that they’d want to build up much better than HHH/Khali with Triple H actually being on the show?

The United States Champion Shelton Benjamin would have his hands full tonight as he would battle on with Jeff Hardy. In the non-title bout, Jeff went to the corner ropes but Shelton ran and jumped up to attack him. Jeff shoved Shelton off then went for a Swanton, with Shelton rolling out of harm’s way. Shelton went for a pinfall with Jeff nearly escaping before a commercial break.

The winner of this would face Triple H for the WWE championship at Summerslam.The match started and the self proclaimed favorite to win this match MVP, was the first one eliminated thanks to a Jeff hardy clothesline.Umaga and the Big Show were going at it alot but that all ended when the Big Show clotheslined Umaga out of the ring.

It’s going to be John Cena and JBL starting the match out tonight.Before anything can happen, JBL tags in Cody Rhodes to kick things off. Rhodes and Cena lock up, bounce off the ropes and Cena hits a big hip toss and a 2 count. Cena hits a big running bulldog on Rhodes for another quick 2 count as JBL stares on. Cena nails a big body drop on Cody and tags in Shad. Shad levels Cody and gets another 2 count.

Shelton Benjamin is the first one to start out the match with the Big Show.Show throws him down hard.Shelton looks like he’s in shock.MVP has words with Shelton, couldn’t hear what was said but it seemed as if he was telling Benjamin something like “C’mon, how could you just let him throw you down like that” in his MVP cocky way.

Big Show made his way to the ring first.Edge came out next, all alone of course.Edge entered the ring and about that time Vickie Guerrero came out to the top of the ramp wheeled by Ryder and Hawkins.Vickie must have wanted a better look.The bell sounded and Edge went right at Big Show but Big Show dominated Edge and just man handled him.The match ended up outside of the ring and the Big Show just tossed Edge around some more.
